Hope to have a good life with Ubuntu… :)

P.S I am going to use ssh tunnel in ubuntu too, command is like this :

ssh -l username -D 8080 remote-server

for example :

ssh -l root -D 8080 X.X.X.X

and then you must set your firefox to use socks as proxy for 127.0.0.1:8080 not html proxy ;)
And enjoy your life beside Telecom filtering.
